Springfield, MO – September 21-22, 2013, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy one of the area’s largest fall arts and crafts festivals! This fall festival takes place at 900 E. Walnut, Springfield, MO, and features regional artists and crafters, three performance stages, a free children’s area with inflatables, and of course – real apple cider! Admission is $4 per person; children 10 and under are free.
Cider Days features more than 65 artists and crafters from the region, and includes jewelry, clay, painting, woodwork, glass, and photography. All arts and crafts are hand-made.
The festival also includes more than 25 different performances each day from some of the area’s most talented groups, including the Springfield Little Theatre Youth Performance Troupes and the Skinny Improv.
In addition to great crafts and performances, Cider Days features fun and free kid’s activities, including face painting, inflatables and real apple cider. The Coffee Ethic will provide hot and cold varieties of fall’s favorite drink at the festival.

Altenburg, MO – September 20-21, 2013, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. This event is held annually in September on the fairgrounds in Altenburg, MO. It is held the third Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. Events include 4-H exhibits, livestock judging, crafts, truck and tractor pulls, jumping mules competition, horse show, rides, local foods, and live entertainment.
There is no admission fee and parking is free.

Chili Cook-Off: They’ve had some great chilies over the years and then they’ve had some not so great chilies, but it is always a fun weekend! Trophies are awarded to the top 10 entries!
Car Show: Trophies will be awarded to top cars in each class and best of show. Also, there is a people’s choice trophy as well as an originality award. There will also be a “most likely to get pulled over” class, this class will be picked by local police department.
This weekend is 25% off on camping and cabins.
