Cassville, MO – October 24, 26, & 27, 2013. The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the Annual Fall Music Show, featuring the HomeTown Sound and the RedHots, will take place at
the Cassville R-IV FEMA and Event Center on October 24, 26 and 27.
Both Thursday and Saturday evening shows will start at 7:30 with the Sunday show set to start
at 2:30. Concessions will be provided by Cassville High School Project Graduation.
Advanced general admission tickets are available at ARVEST Bank, Commerce Bank, Freedom Bank, First State Bank and Security Bank in Cassville. Tickets are also available at the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce office.
Advanced tickets are $6.00 or you may purchase tickets at the door for $8.00. Children twelve
and under are free of charge.

Versailles, MO – October 4-6, 2013. Sponsored by the Versailles Area Chamber of Commerice, the Annual Olde Tyme Apple Festival is enjoyed by thousands of people from all over the state and beyond.
Craft booths, a parade, car show, fiddle contest, street entertainment, and great food are just some of the things you can experience at this festival.

Neosho, MO – October 5, 2013. This year’s festival is expected to be bigger and better, with more art, music, food, and fun. It will be held on the Historic Downtown Neosho Square, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be crafters from all over the Ozarks, live music throughout the day, and lots of kids activities, games and rides (free inflatable rides, wagon rides, and a coaster car race).
The Lions Club will have a pancake breakfast at the Civic Center to start your day.

Springfield, MO – October 19-31, 2013, 6:30-9:00 p.m. Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, MO, is having a Halloween SPOOKTACULAR! This is a family-friendly Halloween event, after-hours at the zoo. Journey along pathways lit by hundreds of jack-o-lanterns, hand-carved by area school children. Collect candy at treat stations while viewing child-friendly scenes. Halloween SPOOKTACULAR is a fundraising event for Friends of the Zoo, with proceeds benefiting the zoo’s conservation education programs.

Defiance, MO – October 19, 2013, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Historic Daniel Boone Home and Boonesfield Village, Defiance, MO, is where the stories of our past will haunt you.
Travel back to the early 1800s where superstition and fear of the unknown led to strange rituals and beliefs. The night will be illuminated by the glow of lanterns as guests make their way through the village and Boone Home witnessing fear, doubt, and uncertainty.
Walk through the Boonefield Village to hear stories of ghosts, goblins, and those unexpected things that go bump in the night. A great family friendly event.

Carthage, MO – October 11-20, 2013.
This annual event began back in the 1960s, and has grown throughout the years to include many more events during the one-week festival. It starts with a variety of activities throughout the week including a family fun walk, beauty pageants, baby and toddler contests, and other competitions.
On the third Saturday of the month, there is a parade that is said to be the largest parade in Southwest Missouri. It begins at 9 a.m. on the historic Carthage square and ends around noon at the Carthage Middle School.
Throuhout the day on that Saturday, there will be craft and food booths around the square, a petting zoo, a car show, and live entertainment.
