Aurora, MO – The Annual Aurora Auto Fest will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Oak Park (Business Highway 60) in Aurora, with classes for classic and street rod cars, trucks and motorcycles showcased.
The festival begins at 8:00 am. Throughout the day, in addition to the auto show, there will be a chili cook-off, a rib cook-off, live music, and food & craft vendors.

Mt. Vernon, Mo – Apple Butter Makin’ Days will be October 9-11, 2015. Most of the activity will be centered around the courthouse square, as it has been done since 1967.
Watch as the craft of cooking apple butter is demonstrated using the huge copper kettles over an open fire each morning of the festival. And, you will be able to buy some to take home with you!
There will be craft booths, games, food and entertainment. There is nothing like the smell of kettle corn and funnel cakes, and the sound of Bluegrass, Country and Gospel music, to get you into the festival spirit!
The parade takes place Saturday morning, and there are other events you won’t want to miss, such as the baby show, pet parade (on Friday), gun fight on the square, and more.

Linn Creek, MO – October 16-17, 2015, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Held at the Camden County Museum in Linn Creek, this festival features many crafters, craft demonstrations, as quilt raffle, and some great food. Admission is free.
