Past Event – Halloween SPOOKTACULAR

Springfield, MO – October 19-31, 2013, 6:30-9:00 p.m. Dickerson Park Zoo in Springfield, MO, is having a Halloween SPOOKTACULAR! This is a family-friendly Halloween event, after-hours at the zoo. Journey along pathways lit by hundreds of jack-o-lanterns, hand-carved by area school children. Collect candy at treat stations while viewing child-friendly scenes. Halloween SPOOKTACULAR is a fundraising event for Friends of the Zoo, with proceeds benefiting the zoo’s conservation education programs.

Creepy Castle • Owl Hollow • Monster Mash Dance Party
Vintage Carnival • Giant Jack o’Lanterns • Alien Crash Landing
Hand-carved jack o’lanterns • Hometown Heroes • Candy treats for kids ages 12 and younger!

Admission: $7/ person at the gate; $6 advance tickets available in mid-October at area McDonald’s restaurants; $3/ person for FOZ members.
